5 Steps for Australian Immigration
For Australian migration you should send an Expression of
Interest (EOI), and it is the first step in the entire application process.
However, before you need to know if your skills are needed,
you will need to understand what type of visa you are qualified for, you will
need to evaluate your ability and you will have to have the IELTS satisfactory
score.
You may also need to get national sponsorship, if you do not
have enough points! However, after you submit EOI, you can receive an
invitation to apply. You can also apply for migration.
It is not the end! You will also need to submit medical
examination papers and a police approval if you are asked to do so.
However, the good news is we are going describe the entire
Australian Immigration Process in just 5 steps.
1: First Data
Gathering and Self-Assessment
First, you will need to spend some time in understanding the
entire Australian Migration Process. This post will be a great start. However,
we can encourage you to explore the official website of the Australian
Migration and International Department.
The main thing you have to find out whether you are eligible
to apply for a visa type or not. For example, basic requirement for Skilled
Independent (subclass 189) visa is that you must:
- Be invited to apply
- Applicant have to be younger than 50 years of age
- Recommend an occupation that matches your skills and qualifications and is on the relevant skilled occupation list
- Have your skills evaluated by the relevant evaluating authority as suitable for your nominated occupation Have at least competent English
- Score at least 60 on the points test
- Meet the health and character requirements
So while you are on the sub-class of a visa, see Skills
list, and check where to find the pipe test point available on the 'Point' tab.
Do not worry about the other requirements in this section.
This may be the worst part of the app migration process.
Therefore, we will consider more about the various features of this step in
some posts.
2: Preparation for
the Application - Skill Assessment, IELTS, State Sponsorship
In case you don’t have enough points, you may seek State
Sponsorship (later we will discuss about this process in more detail).
Once you know that your profession is a list, and at least
one year of work, you can get the right relevant assessing authority for that
job.
If you do not always have an IELTS exam, you will need to do
so and you will need to have at least 6 grade in each test. By claiming the
points of your English-speaking ability you will need to have at least 7 in
each grade.
If you do not have enough points, you may need government
support (later we will discuss this process in detail).
3: Submission of
Expression of Interest
If you receive your own assessment report, along with the
IELTS Score (and State Sponsorship, if necessary), you are ready to submit the
"Expression of Interest" (EOI). Although, in this section you will
need to have some of your support, such as your job credential, educational
records, marriage certificate, etc. You need to make sure the data you provide
at EOI is accurate. Because the authority of migration will issue an invitation
to work based on the information provided to EOI. If there is a difference,
your app may be canceled later.
4: Immigration
Application
You can receive ' Invitation to Apply ' if you have enough
points based on your (EOI). At this time, you need to have all information to
apply for the final application. However, you may need to receive some current
papers, such as bank statements, new job certificate, etc.
5: Supporting Papers
Submission - Medical Examination, Police Clearance
If your application is successful, you and your family
members will be asked to provide documentation relating to medical examination
and certification of police authorization. And you're done! Then you have to
wait for the last 'Visa Letter'!
